RELOCATING TO INDIAN LAKE, NEW YORK?

Moving to Indian Lake, located in the center of the six million acre Adirondack Park in upstate New York, has its benefits. While we do not have any traffic lights, that doesn’t mean life here is not progressive. New businesses and residents are moving in everyday. We cherish the fact that folks like to slow their pace down while they are here, stopping to smell the pines, dip their toes in our streams, and/or hike our 120 miles of public, multi-purpose trails. Our four seasons offer constant change with plenty of activities to enjoy recreation in a new ways.

Our K-12 school is excellent, amazing, and offers a one (1) to five (5) teacher to student ratio in classrooms, as well as partnering with community colleges for distance learning.

Emergency services (fire and ambulance) are available in Indian Lake and Blue Mountain Lake, as well as county and state police. Healthcare services within Indian Lake include the Indian Lake Health Care Center operated by Hudson Headwaters Health Service. Hamilton County Health and Human Services provides assistance with mental health, substance abuse, youth programming and support and home health care.
